I was in a car accident I went to physical thearpy for about 5 months and now I am waiting on my the insurance company to mail my laywer a check how long doest that take. Also if u go to the doctor for 5 months what can u expect.

Tlove1000, Your lawyer is most likely still building your case. That means as long as there outstanding medical expenses being charged in your behalf the case remains open. If you are through with your physical therapy and either replacement or repair of your car or complete repair has been done give him a call.

Your attorney should take time to explain this whole process with you.

As long as they want, and the lawyer plays that game too.Your best bet is to go directly to them and get it yourself.I did and had it an hour after they called for me to sign the release.
