Its been almost two years since I was in an accident. The other driver was at fault. The insurance company paid on my car but have not paid my hospital bills. Whats the deal.
car 1 me traveling north car 2 at stop sign pulled out hitting my cars rear quarter panel drivers side sending my car into south bound lane to be hit broad side by on coming car. then hitting a telelphone pole as car left the road.

It all depends on the facts of the case and how much of a fight the other side is giving your attorney. Cases can be resolved in a few months or they could take a few years.
You should call up your attorney and ask him to give you an estimate of how much more time is going to be involved. He may be holding out waiting for a bigger settlement offer. Or, your case could be stuck on the trial list waiting to be scheduled (which can take months and months).

Why aren’t you asking your lawyer? PI cases can take years – fault may not be as clear-cut as you think.
