I got into a car accident, the guy hit my car but my insurance doesn't cover anything but bodily injury?

I have praetorian car insurance and they only cover bodily insurance. The guy that hit my car…his insurance has been calling me telling me i need to pay almost 4000 for the incident. I tried calling my insurance, lawyers etc., and first was told I’m not responsible but called my insurance again and they told me i have to pay. I don’t have money to pay for a lawyer and REALLY NEED TO KNOW. If i was hit by the car do i really have to pay the claim his insurance company is hunting my down for? Please help…they have been threatening to suspend my license. Please PLEASE HELP!
And he lives in Virginia!!

    Take him to Small Claims Court. You don’t need a lawyer there. Just bring photos and all of your info.

        you dont have to pay for anything regarding his insurance coverage

          get a copy of the police report ,take it to your inssurance agent
