Not sure. I got 23,000 on a much less involved case. I didnt even have a lawyer. Id say no. But he will settle for a decent amount. See they ask for a amount they know they probably wont get. Its the shoot for the moon land in the stars theory.

you’ll probably end up settling…that’s not a lot of money.

It is highly unlikely that you will receive such a high settlement/judgement for an auto accident.

sorry for my harsh comment on the other question, the way you stated it before it made it seem like you owed that much money because the accident was not your fault cause you where driving while you had a concussion and disk fusion (thats really what your previous question implied) you will probably not get that. coincidentally enough my mom had a similar accident and now has mental clarity loss and had to get her discs replaced. she recieved about 600k and that barely covered medical, time off work and the car that go totalled.

Don’t forget medical & lawyers fees.

Let me get this straight, your lawyer is asking for over a Million Dollars as a settlement for an auto accident?

Unless the person that hit you has a Million Dollar umbrella policy, chances are you are NOT going to get that much.

You will most likely get the maximum policy limits from the insurance company.

No auto insurance policy has $1,000,000 in coverage. You better hope they have an additional umbrella/liability policy.

Your injury is serious, but you do not mention if you were left with a loss of function or permanency rating.

Included in the demand was the WC lien and any additional lost wages/future lost wages and medicals. The WC lien needs to be negotiated by your attorney, and it will reduce your recovery. Your attorney will also take his share. Further, unless the other party had $1mil in coverage, you will not receive anywhere near that amount.

Were you driving your vehicle or a company vehicle. It is possible that you may have claims against your underinsured coverage and your employer’s. However, stacking and whether or not these coverages will apply varies from state to state. You provide little information.
